that they can hold onto more energy than then other types of rechargeable batteries. They also have

disadvantages of the rechargeable lithium ion batteries are that they tend to be more expensive than other
batteries and they don't come in standard sizes like other batteries due.

initially are too heavy and they didn't hold the charge well.
Lithium as a metal is a better choice than
nickel because it is comparatively better for the environment, because it is lighter and not as toxic as
nickel, which is what most batteries are made from. Many researchers predict that lithium prices will come down and
nickel will be rising. So, it could be that the price of the rechargeable lithium ion battery will come down
soon!
